Africa captivated me from a young age, and in the words of Richard Mullin “The only man i envy is the man who has not yet been to Africa - for he has so much to look forward to.”
My African love story began at 15 in Botswana. This initial safari experience ignited an undying affection for the continent. By 20, I was in South Africa, training as a safari guide with Bushwise and working in the Greater Kruger for two years.
The subsequent eight years saw me managing safari lodges in Nairobi National Park, Amboseli, and the Maasai Mara in Kenya, a dream of mine since watching BBC’s Big Cat Diaries as a child.
These rich experiences living and working in the continent have fueled my current role as a travel consultant. This platform and the tailored journeys I curate reflect my love and passion for the continent.
When I'm not traveling or creating personalized journeys for clients, i’m at home with my pilot husband and three wonderful stepchildren or i can be found out and about in my van. Beside me is Tanner, my loyal four-legged (and best) friend. This mobile office, set against the picturesque backdrop of Jersey, is where i can take time time to let my imagination run and research new and exciting adventures for my clients and myself.
My mission is to introduce as many individuals as I can to the wonders of Africa and the immense happiness it offers.
I’ll be running the walking group tours as well as curating the tailormade experiences for Safari & Me through my independent agency, a franchise of the award-winning Travel Counsellors. My expertise and personal knowledge is supported by their 24/7 duty office, financial protection and award-winning services.
My goal is to deliver quality experiences that showcase Africa's splendor and foster strong connections among travelers.
